"Reef"

This painting started with paint remaining on the palette. The underpainting peeks through the underlying shapes revealed and then hidden. The brushwork is linear, the blends as smooth as watercolor, but made with glazed layers of acrylic color. This started as a doodle in paint, my husband is a diver, and said it looks just like a reef. The dot motif is in this work and many of the other abstract works. Framed.
